I am tremendously delighted to announce that the Manville Arts Council (MAC) 2025 Expo, in which I have two of my mixed media works on view, is now open at the Manville Public Library in Manville, New Jersey! My two selected pieces are “COEXIST”, a dimensional paper collage/mixed media composition on canvas, and “Brainstorm”, an illuminated sculpture.
Having participated in last year’s expo, I was super excited to pursue yet another fantastic opportunity to share my work with the Manville community and beyond as one of the 24 featured artists! The stakes were high, with 98 total artwork submissions among 35 artists, and I extend my happiest congratulations to all of the accepted artists! It was truly rewarding to attend the opening night reception on Friday, May 2 from 6:30–8 pm. The theme of this exhibition is “Life is Art. Live Yours in Color”, and it was wonderful not only to witness our work—encompassing a diverse range of interpretations of this theme—converge into a collective community showcase, but also to become acquainted with fellow artists who I would not have crossed paths with otherwise.
I would like to sincerely thank Heather Ball, Amy Ohlson, and all of the other members of the council for this awesome second run, and for their continued local support of the arts.
The expo will be on view at the Manville Public Library, in the community room, from Friday, May 2—Friday, May 30, 2025. If you ever happen to be in the area and have a few minutes, please feel free to check out everyone’s amazing work! 🖼️🎨👏🏻
