I am profoundly delighted and grateful to announce that “Growing From the Ruins”, a group exhibition at Nails in the Wall Gallery at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Metuchen, New Jersey, for which one of my works was accepted, is now open! Among the pieces on view is my wall-hanging mixed media work, “Rise”, which was created specially for what is my third consecutive show at this gallery.
I was truly honored to have attended the opening reception on Saturday, September 13, during which I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with gallery committee members and my fellow returning artists, becoming acquainted with others, and contributing to such a diverse and eclectic collection of pieces from 44 total accepted artists (out of nearly 200 who applied)!
I would like to sincerely thank Deb Kmetz and the rest of the gallery committee for our ever-growing working relationship and for considering my work for yet another group exhibition at the gallery! I could not be more excited to once again share my art with the local community! 🖼️🙏🏻🪽
The body of work was selected and curated to showcase various interpretations and depictions of growth and triumph in spite of obstacles or adversity.
“Growing From the Ruins” will be on view from Saturday, September 13—Sunday, December 14.
