On Thursday, I deinstalled my solo exhibition, “Urgent”, at the Manville Public Library in Manville, New Jersey, following its display in the community room for the past two months. I was elated not only to have had the opportunity to once again show my work at this trusted venue, but also to install it a few weeks earlier than initially scheduled.
I am very thankful to Crystal Hooper, Branch Manager, who has been quite enjoyable to work with on exhibition arrangements, promotion and publicity, and other matters. I’m glad to know that my art provided the backdrop to various activities and events throughout the duration of the show. Among these was a program involving a blacklight, and as it turned out, my pieces appeared dynamically different when shone upon with this special light! Thanks again to Crystal for sharing these photos! 🖼️💡👀
Directly following my exhibition will be the Manville Arts Council (MAC) 2026 Expo in the very same space at the Manville Library, in which one of mixed media pieces will be featured! This group show will take place from Friday, May 1–Friday, May 29, with an opening reception on Friday, May 1 from 6:30–8 pm. I’m excited to share my work at this wonderful venue for a second consecutive time in just another week! 🎉🙏🏻
