Beginning this coming Saturday, my work will be featured in “The Pursuit of Happiness”, a group exhibition at Nails in the Wall Gallery at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Metuchen, New Jersey! This will be my fourth consecutive group show at this gallery, and I am very excited to be able to once again connect with the gallery committee, fellow artists, and the local community. 🖼️🤗🙏🏻

The theme for this show was inspired by the impending 250th anniversary of the United States and its Declaration of Independence. The exhibition prospectus states that the pursuit of happiness is an unalienable right that has always been challenged by circumstance. Artists were prompted to address any of a variety of inquiries, based upon which the body of work was selected and curated: What overarching challenges to this pursuit have we observed in our country and/or the world? What does it mean to pursue? Why is happiness different for different people? What happiness have we seen?

“The Pursuit of Happiness” will be on view from Saturday, February 21—Sunday, May 17. An opening reception will be held at the gallery on Saturday, February 21 from 2–4 pm.
