"Urgent: Winged Messengers" & "Art Meets Alphabet" Dual-Body Solo Exhibition Now Open at the Bridgewater Library

I am overwhelmingly delighted to announce that my latest dual-body solo exhibition, “Urgent: Winged Messengers” & “Art Meets Alphabet”, is now installed at the Bridgewater Library in my hometown of Bridgewater, New Jersey! This is my eighth solo exhibition at this venue, and my twenty-fourth overall.
“Urgent: Winged Messengers”—on display at the gallery wall in the main area—is a collection of mixed media works that respond to the ongoing situation of division, unrest and conflict in our world, calling attention to important, universal topics and issues concerning humanity. These four pieces constitute the bulk of my creative output from the past year, in which I have worked to refine my techniques of paper cutting with various mixed media.
“Art Meets Alphabet”—featured in the display cases in the lobby—is a series of 26 pieces celebrating the contributions of various artists throughout history. Each letter of the alphabet represents the initial of an artist's surname, incorporating examples of their work. Originally compiled into a self-published book several years ago, it was reformatted into a solo show last year.
As a mixed media artist, I work with a wide range of materials to transcend boundaries of creativity, dimension, and communication. Each of my pieces is developed as a unique experience shaped by exploration, risk-taking, and discovery.
My work responds to the ongoing situation of division, unrest, and conflict facing my emerging generation, compelling me to address important, universal themes of humanity and connection. I believe that art can be both comforting and challenging, presenting a way into the soul and a catalyst for personal transformation and shared understanding.
I would like to sincerely thank the Bridgewater Library for providing me with the wonderful and rewarding opportunity to share my art. Libraries have always been, and continue to be, sources of inspiration and learning, and I am delighted to be able to give back to such important cornerstones of our community.
