Reflecting on "Urgent" and "Be Still" Dual-Body Solo Exhibition at the Warren Township Library

This past Thursday, I deinstalled my dual-body solo exhibition, “Urgent” & “Be Still”, which was on view at the Warren Township Library in Warren, New Jersey for the duration of December and January. Many of the community venues at which I’ve shown my pieces have either a wall space or a display case, but the library at Warren has the unique distinction of housing both at a sizable capacity. Thus, I was delighted to be able to share two separate bodies of work—“Urgent” along the gallery wall and “Be Still” in the case.
Additionally, I’m so incredibly grateful to have facilitated two very special endeavors throughout the duration of the exhibition. First, I would like to thank Audrey Blumberg of the Bridgewater-Raritan BReeze—with whom I’ve frequently collaborated on local publicity—for her article on my show in the January issue! Later in January, I was very pleased to host an artist talk for a group from Mt. Bethel Day Program in Warren! I wish I could share some photos of the event, but I can’t due to photo confidentiality policies. Nonetheless, I was really amazed and impressed by the insight and depth of the comments and conversations that were sparked by participants during the talk. It was truly a pleasure to welcome them to my exhibition.
I extend my sincere thanks to Bernadette Nisler, Library Assistant, and the rest of the staff at the Warren Township Library who contributed to the success of this show. Also included are the staff from Mt. Bethel who helped arrange their clients’ wonderful visit. As always, I’m thankful for my loving mom, who continues to bear with me through preparations for each and every exhibition.
“Urgent” will be traveling next to the Bernardsville Public Library in Bernardsville, NJ for the month of February! 🖼️🗞️🗣️🙌🏻
